Pauline M. (Colaneri) Crescenzo

Pauline M. Crescenzo (nee Colaneri), 85, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September, 11, 2021. Pauline was born on July 5, 1936 in Jersey City, NJ to Joseph and Rose Colaneri (nee Marino). She was raised in Jersey City until 1971 when she moved to Ramsey where she resided for the rest of her life. She was predeceased by her parents, her twin brothers, Thomas and Michael and her son, Thomas A. Crescenzo. Pauline is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Alphonse T. Crescenzo and her children Christopher P. Crescenzo and Lisa M. Fox and her husband Ryan R. Fox and grandchildren Evan T. Fox and Elizabeth R. Fox. Pauline enjoyed family activities with her children and grandchildren. She graduated from William L. Dickinson High School in Jersey City where she took commercial courses and became an excellent stenographer and typist. She worked as an executive secretary and legal secretary and later for many years as a homemaker. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of several groups in Ramsey. She was a member of the Ramsey Leisure Club and Ramsey Seniors and enjoyed trips and activities with them. Pauline was a parishioner of St. Paul RC Church in Ramsey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 4-7 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Paul RC Church in Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
