Pauline L (Badecker) Strickland

Pauline L. Strickland (nee Badecker) of Ramsey, NJ, passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 99. She was born in Woodhaven, NY on October 6, 1923, to Frieda and Henry Badecker. Pauline was married for over 25 years to the late Mark B. Strickland. She was predeceased by her sisters Frieda Cordes and Millicent Drankwalter and her brother Frederick Badecker. Pauline was the beloved aunt to her niece Lynn Engel and her nephews Frederick Badecker, Lester Drankwalter, Richard Drankwalter, Robert Cordes, and William Cordes. She was the beloved step mother to Carolyn Yopp and Marcia Strickland and the late Donald Strickland, and the late Mark F. Strickland. Pauline worked over 30 years for the New York Life Insurance Company in the Treasury and Investment departments. Pauline served for over 30 years as a Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, and youth group leader. She was a devoted member of the churches she attended over the years.

Visitation will be held at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey, NJ 07446, on December 15, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM.
