Our hearts are broken as we share the sad news of the passing of our beloved Robby (Rawbit). It is impossible to capture the spirit of Robby in just a few paragraphs. If you know Robby, you loved him and being around him…and you know that he loved you.
If friends were counted as money, Robby was a billionaire.
He loved life, jokes, garage sales, laughing, picking, riding his motorcycle, tinkering and drinkering in his garage and spending time with family and friends. Robby could fix anything, build anything and make even the most serious person crack a smile and laugh.
Both his jokes and his farts were legendary and unforgettable. As you quickly learned while hanging out with Robby, that farts are always funny.
He did not want for much: a good laugh, good fire, cold beer, good music and friends to share them all with.
Robby was happy to live in Sloatsburg for over 26 years. He grew up in Riveredge and got a real-world education at Hagler’s.
Robby is already terribly missed by the luckiest wife in the land, Lil, who loves him with all her heart; his loving daughter and light of his eye, Kerry, who he is so proud of; his sister Patty (Joe), brother Jimmy (Kim), sister Kath and sister-in-law Patty Lou; loving nieces and nephews; the Kirk cousins; the Kirk and Masterson/McKee families, the water boys and many many lifelong friends. He was predeceased by his brother Mike and brother-in-law Bobby.
Please come share a drink, a funny story or a joke at our Irish Wake for Robby on Friday December 5th, 2025, 3 pm – 8 pm:
Character’s Restaurant, 94 Orange Turnpike, Sloatsburg NY
There is a road, no simple highway
Between the dawn and the dark of night
And if you go, no one may follow
That path is for your steps alone
…...If I knew the way I would take you home
Life was better because Robby was in it.
