Robert Drewes, Jr.

Robert Claus Drewes, 86, formerly of Whiting, NJ and Emerson, NJ, passed away peacefully in Park Ridge, NJ on May 21, 2021. Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor, his daughter, Linda Meyer, his son, Brian and his wife Patricia, and his daughter, Karen and her husband Cyril. Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren, Abigail, Andrew, Lori, Melissa, Erik, and Phillipe as well as his great-grandson Conor. 

Robert grew up in Springfield Gardens, Queens, NY.  He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in August 1962. He was a hard worker and was dedicated to his jobs at Wonder Bread, Bank of America, and Bergen County School System. He kept active by volunteering for the Emerson Police Auxiliary, Christ Lutheran Church, and Crestwood Community. Robert was also passionate about cars, gardening, and traveling. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge on those topics with friends and family.
