Robert E. Franzetti

Robert Franzetti, 79, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Bob was born in Hackensack, NJ on June 27, 1943 to Abraham and Edna Franzetti. He grew up in Hillsdale and Woodcliff Lake and attended Saddle River Country Day School and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He had a successful career at Flexabar Corporation and retired as Vice President and General Manager. He was a fierce protector of his family, wife of 58 years, Beth and daughter, Kate and her husband Pete. The apple of his eye was his beloved granddaughter, Zoë. He is also survived by a brother, Carl in PA. He was a lifetime member and former chief of the Mahwah Fire Department. He was often found on the golf course. Bob was a force. He put you at ease with a joke the moment he met you and then you had a friend for life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 4-8 PM with a Fire Department Service being conducted during the visitation hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to RBARI or a charity of your choice.
