On January 8, 2024, Robyn Adele Allan English, 88, of Mahwah, New Jersey, wife of the late Robert J. English, Sr., died of heart failure. On August 1, 1935, Robyn was born in Billings, Montana. Her parents were Roy Allan and Edith Prater Allan. Her parents raised her in Billings with her brother Richmond Allan (Dorothy Frost). She had three children; Robert (Dawn) of Mahwah, New Jersey; Mark (Sheila) of Billings, Montana and John (Lisa) of Monroe, New York. She had five grandchildren: Connor, Alexis, Allison, John and Elizabeth. She was the 1952 valedictorian of Billings Senior High School. She graduated from Trinity College in Washington D.C. with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. She attended graduate school at Georgetown University. She received a Master Science Degree in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickenson University. She had various employment throughout her life. She enjoyed working as a substitute teacher in the Mahwah Public Schools for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a devoted Catholic.
On January 16, 2024, at 10:00am, a mass will be held at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. After the mass, she will be buried at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, New Jersey with her husband.
