Rosemarie Rokose

Rosemarie Rokose, 82, of Ramsey, NJ, passed away on June 15, 2024.

Rosemarie was the adored wife of Bob Rokose for 61 years, until his passing in December 2023. She was the devoted mother to her three children and their spouses: Gina Choquette and husband Greg, Jennifer Jinks and husband Tim, and Bob Rokose and wife Elise. Ro was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Brenna and Matthew. She was a dear sister-in-law to George, Joe and wife Diane and Carol, and a caring aunt to her nephews – Steve, Pete, Jeff and the late Timmy.  She is survived by her sister Carol Edzek and predeceased by her parents Jennie and Anthony Ciambruschini. 

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Ro met Bob as a teenager in Linden NJ.

She was a talented cook and wouldn’t reveal her secrets to her sauce or lasagna. She loved to sing and dance and loved Broadway musicals, especially Jersey Boys! She enjoyed Elvis and Sinatra. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 9-11 AM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ.  Entombment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel at 11:30 AM in Mahwah, NJ
