Rosemarie Jean Rotonda

Rosemarie Jean Rotonda,  (nee Vegliante) of Upper Saddle River, N.J. passed away peacefully, comforted by the love of her family on December 18, 2023. She was 83. Rosemarie was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on June 19, 1940. Her parents, Frank and Rose Vegliante raised Rosemarie in Williamsburg, NY and Palisades Park, NJ. She was a graduate of Leonia High School. Rosemarie married her beloved husband, Nicholas Salvatore Rotonda in 1959 and the couple settled in Upper Saddle River, NJ where they raised their four children: Gene, Nick, Frank, and Rosemarie. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother to eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Rosemarie was the Bank Manager of Oritani Savings in Montvale, NJ. She was a devoted Catholic, taught CCD, and was a valued member of the Church of the Presentation. Most of all, Rosemarie treasured her time with family and friends. Rosemarie is survived by her four children: Gene Rotonda and his wife, Doreen, Nicholas C. Rotonda and his wife Linda, Frank Rotonda, and Rosemarie Hebner and her husband Brian Loftus, as well as eleven cherished grandchildren: Danielle Alexandra Rotonda, Alyssa Marie Rotonda, Marie Christine Rotonda, Christopher Francis Rotonda, Thomas Daniel Hebner, Nicholas Patrick Rotonda, Isabel Rose Hebner, Monica Nicole Hebner, Nicholas Christopher Rotonda, Jr., Tate Dylan Hebner, and Tyler Nicholas Hebner; and two beloved great-grandchildren, Farrah and Nico.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11 AM in the Maryrest Mausoleum Chapel, 770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430.

Entombment will follow the service in the Mausoleum.
