Salvatore Pernice, Jr., 92, on February 14, 2023 of Mahwah, formerly of Passaic. Beloved husband of the late Rose (Ferrara). Devoted father of Salvatore (Joan), Lisa (Carlos) Pernice-Rodriguez and the late Debbierose Pernice. Dear brother of Frank (Sarah), Robert and the late Anita and Janet. Adored grandfather of Salvatore, Nicholas, Dina (Frank) Licata, Vincent (Marissa), Melanie, Anthony (Samantha), Marco and Gabby. Cherished great-grandfather of Franki Jo, Sofia, Presli, Giulia and Sienna.

Salvatore was born in Brooklyn, lived most of his life in Passaic, settling in Mahwah 20 years ago. Salvatore never missed watching a NY Giant or Met game, he was their biggest fan. Nothing brought him more joy then spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-6 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Paul RC Church in Ramsey. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
