Sarla Thadani (née Mansukhani)

October 8, 1933 – November 14, 2024

Sarla Thadani, born on October 8, 1933, in India, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Sarla was one of ten children and was known for her grace, poise, and regal demeanor.

At the age of 21 she and Jethu fell in love and they were married shortly thereafter, beginning a journey filled with love and companionship. Sarla spent the majority of her life in Hyderabad, India, where she devoted herself to raising her two beloved children, Suneeta and Raju. She was also blessed with her son-in-law, Vinay, and her daughter-in-law, Anu, whom she considered her own children.

In 1996, Sarla and Jethu moved to the United States, where they continued to build a community of close-knit friends who gathered every weekend. Sarla cherished these gatherings and the bonds formed within them.

She was blessed with four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, whom she adored and who brought her immense joy. Sarla's love for her family knew no bounds, and she cherished her large extended family in the USA, which included her nieces, nephews, and their children and her wonderful caregiver Zeba who became a dear and beloved friend. 

Sarla will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to God & her family, her elegant presence, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
