Stephanie Aurora DeNardo

We regretfully announce the passing of Stephanie Aurora DeNardo on April 20, 2023.  She was only 38 years old. Family and friends are deeply saddened by her unexpected death.  Stephanie was born on May 8th in Philadelphia, but mainly grew up in her hometown of Oakland, New Jersey residing on River Road until her untimely passing.

Stephanie was a small business owner and entrepreneur.  She inherited her love of fishing and the river from her grandfather, Cal, as she was always ready to throw a line in.  She enjoyed music, cooking (she was heavy on the garlic), crafting, dabbled at painting, and developed a green thumb in the garden. Stephanie wasn’t afraid to tackle construction or a big project. She also loved all holidays; there also wasn’t a season she didn’t look forward to, however, Halloween was definitely a favorite.  Those who passed her decorated house can attest to that!

Everyone who knew Stephanie knew how special she was.  She was full of laughter, tackled the unknown, and had a huge heart.  Though her goals changed, the love of her friends and family never strayed and always stayed strong.

Stephanie was predeceased by both sets of her grandparents, Gustavo “Gus” & Grace DeNardo of Brigantine, New Jersey and Alma & Calvin “Cal” Learsch of Oakland, New Jersey. 

Stephanie is survived by her parents, Liesa (Learsch) & Soave DeNardo of Kinnelon, New Jersey; her siblings and their spouses, Michael & Alexis DeNardo, Philip DeNardo, and Dawn DeNardo; her nieces and nephews, Scarlett & Alexandra DeNardo, Gavin & Adrianna DeNardo, Casey Garrity, Austin Garrity, Paul Hilbert, Jaydan Harte & Jordan Harte; an abundance of family including aunts, uncles, cousins, and her friends, including one of her most cherished, Colleen Pope.

Stephanie will be missed by all.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 3-7 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, Ramsey, NJ.
