Takeshi Yamaguchi

Takeshi "Tak" Yamaguchi, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Harue Yamaguchi; a loving father to Miyuki Yamaguchi (Michael Meurer), Naoki Yamaguchi (Helen Yamaguchi), and Rie Yamaguchi (Max Zutty); and a cherished grandfather to Quinn Meurer, Zachary Meurer, Ava Yamaguchi, James Yamaguchi, and Ty Zutty.

Tak was one of the first Japanese Certified Public Accountants in the New York City area. He was deeply dedicated to his profession, helping Japanese businesses establish operations in the United States. He worked for many years at Deloitte & Touche and then on his own until he was 88.

Tak enjoyed golf, travel, and painting, but above all, he loved his family.

In keeping with the wishes of Tak, there will be no formal services.
