Thomas Anthony Walker, 68, a man whose zest for life was as vibrant as the music he adored, passed away on February 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of joy, creativity, and an unquenchable spirit of adventure. Known affectionately by his nickname "Tent," Thomas had a love for the great outdoors.
Born to the late Harold and Marcella Walker, Thomas grew up alongside his brothers Robert, Jack and the late Patrick, and Timothy.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Carol and their son, Ryan Thomas Walker and his partner John Hastings.
A virtuoso on the guitar, banjo, and piano, Thomas's passion for music was undeniable. He had a talent for writing music. He enjoyed creating art. He appreciated 70’s Rock Music and was an ardent fan of the Grateful Dead. Outdoor music festivals were his sanctuaries, where he could bask in the melodies that he held so dear.
Thomas's love for sports was as fervent as his love for music. He was a dedicated fan of the NY Yankees, NY Giants, and NASCAR.
Thomas was a true hippie at heart and had a fascination with voodoo. His beard was not just a statement but a symbol of his free-spirited nature.
Finn, his son's dog, held a special place in Thomas's heart. Their bond was a testament to his capacity for love and the simple joys that life has to offer.
His absence leaves a silence that is palpable, but the melodies of his existence will continue to inspire and comfort those who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit, like his music, will never fade away.
