Victor A. Cooper

Victor Alan Cooper, 69, of Mahwah, NJ. Beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021. He was born on December 29, 1951 in Passaic, NJ growing up in Waldwick, NJ with his mother and father Josephine and Edward and his brothers, Keith and Barry. Vic met his wife Virginia, while working at a local store. They were married and have been together for 50 years. They have a son, Michael born in 1987. Vic worked for many years at Village Ford of Ridgewood. He was also a life member of Mahwah Fire Rescue Company 1 where he served for over 30 years. Vic is survived by his mother Josephine, his wife Virginia, son Michael (Lindsey), grandson Christopher, his brothers Keith (Kathy) and Barry (Lisa), and numerous nieces and nephew. Vic was preceded in death by his father Edward. Visitation and funeral service will be private for family only. Interment will be public and will take place on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:15 AM at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, Ramsey, NJ.
