Adulthood started much younger for our mom's generation. Virginia Muzio was born on October 19, 1926, was a child during the Great Depression and an adolescent when World War II raged on. Married at eighteen, motherhood at twenty and parent to four by thirty. She took on her job as homemaker full on with only graceful devotion to the family and never a lament. That graceful devotion she brought to every challenge life brought her. When she lost her mobility to Parkinson's Disease shortly before her husband, Gene, of nearly 70 years passed away, she accepted her situation uncomplainingly and always tried hard to comfort and support those around her. She would surprise with a quick wit that could lift any situation. And that was how she was surrounded by her loving family when her tired body gave up two months shy of her 97th birthday. We know it's bragging to say she was the best, but honestly mothers just don't come any better. Thank you, Mom. You will always be loved, Jeanne, Richard (Pam), Blane (Lucille), Celeste (Charles) Kirsten (Paul), Christopher, Andrew, Jarett, David, Peter (Sarah), Keri (Charlie), Meredith (Tom), Sarah (Mehrdad), Charles (Grace), PJ, Abby, Jason, Finn, Genevieve, Grayden, Parker, Sammy, Nora and a very honorable mention Petros
